DA NANG – HUE – DA NANG (2 days 1 night)

Hue and Da Nang belong to central Viet Nam. Only separated by Hai Van pass, they almost have the same local words, and culture. However, Hue and Da Nang also have a big difference of the sound, history and economics. Da Nang is a modern city with the ongoing development. Everyone calls Da Nang city a worth-living-in city. Danang attracts tourists by its clean and long white sand beaches, exciting amusement parks and modern architectures. Different from Da nang, Hue is famous as a heritage city with royal tombs, and old pagodas. Hue, a romantic and loveable ancient city, still keeps traditional cultural values.

2 DAYS 1 NIGHT DISCOVER HUE FROM DA NANG

Day 1: Da nang sightseeing to Hue city (L)

At 8 – 8:30 am: Our driver and Guide will pick you up at your hotel/stay in Da Nang

You will visit:

• Marble Mountains – A cluster of 5 mountains: Metal (Venus), Wood (Jupiter), Earth (Saturn), Water (Mercury) and Fire (Mars). However, we will only visit Water Mountain – the largest, beautiful historical site to visit and explore.
• Hai Van pass – An amazing pass located between Da nang and Hue. Hai Van means Ocean and Cloud, so foreigners usually calls Hai Van pass by the name “Ocean Clouds pass”. On Hai Van pass, you can also see a very beautiful beach with clean and blue water – Lang Co beach.

At 12:00 pm: Arrive in Hue and have lunch.

After having lunch and taking a short rest, we continue to visit:

• Imperial Citadel – the home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty.
• Thien Mu pagoda ( Heaven fairy Lady Pagoda) – the oldest pagoda in Hue. It’s around 3km from Citadel and on the northern bank of Perfume River. Thien Mu pagoda is surrounded by flowers and ornamental plants. Every late afternoon, we can hear the sound of the bell which makes the space become solemn and peaceful.

Then you will get on Dragon boat to cruise on Perfume river. Our driver will pick up again at the boat station and drop you off at your hotel in Hue city.

Day 2: Hue royal tombs to Da nang city (B, L)

At 9:00 am: After breakfast, we depart to visit some other famous places in Hue city

• Khai Dinh tomb – a blend of Western and Eastern architecture. With the Guide, you go around visiting this tomb then come back to the car to continue the trip to another tombs.
• Tu Duc tomb – a complex of the constructions: palaces, temples, royal theater etc. Many say that it’s a perfect combination of man-made and natural beauty in Hue, where architecture fits harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.

After Tu Duc tomb, you can try to how to make the conical hat and incense in traditional village at with Conical hat and incense making village.

Then, continue the trip to visit:

• Minh Mang tomb – you will be impressed by the majesty and symmetry of the architectural constructions.

Then we will have lunch and come back to Da Nang. Drop you off at your hotel in Da nang city. Finish tour
